Most of the LateRooms reviews are very positive. We've added a few thoughts.

All but one of our baths are standard length (1700mm). Most of them have the whirlpool feature. All of our rooms also have a walk in shower. The 6' sunken whirlpool bath featured in the 'Hotel Inspector' has been replaced.

Many of our rooms and most of our bathrooms have been totally refurbished.

Most of the later TripAdvisor comments are positive. We believe we've improved things since some of the earlier comments.

We are often disappointed by the attitude of some of our guests! For example to claim that they were promised a suite when they were patently not and then to shout about it on TripAdvisor where we have very limited right of reply does not help anyone. To reduce staff to tears by their bullying and sarcasm just reveals more about them than the Woodlands Lodge!

We are often pleasantly surprised by the number of good comments (e.g. 'best night's sleep') we get about our beds.

We have refurbished most of our bathrooms, including the one with the sunken bath!

We loved the double deluxe room we stayed in, everything was nice and clean and comfortable, the staff were very nice and helpfull and we were very happy with our stay.
