From Romantic to rustic ceremonies in a picturesque setting the Woodlands Lodge Hotel provides all the inspiration, care and attention you deserve for your special day.
We are licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnership in our Woodlands & Wedgwood rooms and can offer an elegant banquet in the restaurant, a buffet in the garden or a larger reception in a marquee (subject to certain restrictions). We can accommodate 90 guests by combining the Wedgwood and garden rooms and 120 guests in a marquee.
We have two delightful dining rooms, which open out onto the gardens; the peaceful surroundings make everyone feel at home.
Many guests do make a weekend of the occasion and hire the whole hotel, which means the drinking and revelry can go on til the last guest goes to bed! We can also arrange pre-wedding snacks, meals and a post wedding buffets & picnics.

Public Rooms
Whether you are catering for a small family affair or a larger celebration we have a suitable room. Our wedding packages include use of the following hotel facilities
Wedgewood Room
This beautiful room, which is used as our restaurant over looks the garden and into the forest. This room is licensed for Civil Ceremonies. It seats up to 50 people for a sit down meal and 65 people theatre style.
Garden Room
This wonderful light and airy room has panoramic windows overlooking the picturesque gardens and New Forest beyond. It seats up to 40 guests for a sit down meal.
Woodlands Room
This room is licensed for Civil Ceremonies too. It provides an ideal room for a sit down meal for 8 - 20 people. This room also has direct access to the garden and forest. It is perfect for intimate groups and even business events. It seats up to 50 people theatre style.
Garden BBQs
We can organise small informal BBQ's in our private grounds, along with a small covered area of the garden, it makes any occasion that little bit different and enjoyable.
We have 4 wedding packages which can all be modified and tailor made for your special day. It is also possible to create your own bespoke package.
Cancellations and Payment for weddings
Payment terms
£500 non refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date, please note that this deposit is non- refundable. 50% of the balance is due 8 weeks before your wedding day and the remaining 50% 2 weeks before the wedding, where we can finalise numbers and any special requirements.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation between the date of booking until six months before your deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel from six to three months before then 33% of the estimated cost will be payable. From three months to one month before the function 66% of the estimated cost will be payable. Then if you cancel in the last month 90% of the estimated cost will be payable. The estimation is based on your quotation. We strongly recommend that our wedding parties take out cancellation insurance in case of, for example, family sickness.

This package is perfect for day weddings where no evening function is required.

This package allows couples and their guests to make a whole weekend of their celebrations. Giving exclusive access to the hotel from 2pm Friday til 11am Sunday.
