The Lunch meal was excellent, good food served on hot plates, so important in cold weather. The food all pre- ordered arrived on time, the attention to detail was outstanding. Dining here was a real pleasure.Brian B - 2016
We have just got back from a one night stay at woodlands and we would highly recommend it! It was my husband, myself and our 3 year old. We all had a fab time. The room was spacious and a bed had been set up for my son which was comfortable enough. The food in the restaurant was the defiantly the best point about the hotel along with the wonderful service. We were made to feel welcome at all times and having a toddler this some times does not happen!Miranda L - Feb 2016

Family meal for 4. Fabulous locally sourced meat and veg main courses and tempting interesting starters. At a very reasonable price. We will be back again.Whiri - June 2015
All three courses were great portion sizes and excellent quality, and value for money. It was part of a deal, as we stayed at the hotel, but if in the area, we would dine there and recommend it as well.Kath C - Feb 2016
This lovely privately owned Hotel is set in a peaceful & beautiful part of the New Forest. The Hotel is Dog friendly, which is great in this day & age. The staff were top notch, very friendly & were only to pleased to be of assistance. We stayed in room 5 which was at the front of the Hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was very good indeed. We ate twice in their 3*AA Rosette restaurant, & were not disappointed at the quality of the food. Great wine & Ale selection. Beautiful Gardens. We would definitely go backRon H - June 2015
We had our wedding at Woodlands Lodge 2 weeks ago on Sept 19th. We chose Woodlands as we opted for the smaller package and from the first time we visited we just had such good experiences with all the staff that work there.Holly1991 Sep 15
Imogene was so helpful with the arranging of everything for the day, and really helped ease my mind with the running of how everything would go.
Everybody who stayed commented on how lovely the rooms were and how helpful everybody that works at Woodlands is.
The dinner was absolutely delicious and piping hot, which I know is sometimes difficult with a larger party
Gary and I had a fabulous Christmas with Robert and Imogene and ALL the friendly staff of Woodlands Lodge. From our arrival with our two Cocker spaniels we could not have wished for a better experience... 5 Star all the time.
Just spent our wedding anniversary here wonderful place we paid for breakfast and 3 course evening meal. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. We have a german shephard and it was nice to find somewhere that excepts large and small dogs with no fuss.Wendt H Oct 15
We greatly enjoyed the Afternoon Tea in a beautiful conservatory full of light. Very friendly and attentive service. The scones are worlds from the next best. Never have eaten anything like it. There was ample jam and clotted cream. Coming from Switzerland it was alone well worth the journey to the New Forest.Renate W Oct 15
