Coronavirus (COVID- 19)- Update

Due to the recent advice from the Government they have upgraded their recommendations for corona virus to avoid social contact and avoid restaurants, pubs and theatres. We are therefore updating our advice regarding your up coming stay to the hotel. The situation is moving rapidly and we will update you as best we can.

We are open for business, but have to limit our restaurant & bar service- to enable a social isolation. We therefore have to cancel our Mother’s Day lunch event and Afternoon tea- we are very sorry to do this, but the health and safety of our guests and staff is most important to us. We do not know how long this social isolating will be for and we wish to get back to welcoming you to our amazing restaurant as soon as possible.

We are keenly following the Government and  World Health Organisation information and advice.

  • Enable social isolation, to assist this we will cancel all external events and lunches until the 31st March and we will extend this and advise you if this is necessary. All events will be rescheduled to the best of our ability.
  • We are actively taking measures to reduce the spread of infection- posters, additional hand washing, extra hand sanitising units in public areas and our kitchens 
  • Staff have been made aware of the government guidelines and will follow self isolation policy if they feel unwell.
  • We are also being vigilant of the health of our guests
  • We are following a rigorous deep clean of public areas – door handles, reception, banisters etc on a daily basis.
  • We are following government and WHO advice.
  • We have an emergency plan that will be implemented if necessary

We can continue trading  at the moment but t we will continue to update you as best as we know any changes.

Any stay or event booked over such a period where a cancellation is necessary/ enforced will be rescheduled. Also, any guest that has to cancel because they are diagnosed with the corona virus will be able to reschedule their stay during these emergency times.*

We are a small business, and it is our overriding desire to keep our staff and guests happy, healthy and in a safe environment, and any closures are a final/last resort. 

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are worried or concerned, but we remain open as best as the government and public health allows, and we are taking all steps we can to mitigate the spread of this virus.
